For 3D enthusiasts and SF Fans

As a part of an open source game project we offer an accompanying seminar in Blender 3D and Blender Game Engine.

On Saturday 01. December 2012 at 1pm at c-base: Rungerstr. 20, 10179 Berlin.

C-base is a space station where a third person adventure game will be played. The story is based on the history of the c-base club. The seminar shall introduce game design and game programming.

In addition the integration of Blender 3D in 3D-pipelines will be shown. That means by using the import/export function the users of other 3D programs shall be enabled to get access to Blender 3D even with external file formats.
There will be a short introduction for Blender 3D newbies and further tasks. Models designed by you might be integrated in the Game Project.

We aim at introducing the game in Holland on the Hackerspace-Event at 2013.

The duration of the seminar depends on the progress of the game project. Additional workshops can be arranged later on the end.

The seminar is free of charge and will take place in a non-smoking seminar room at c-base.

Your own laptop is required.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
