I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Yes, thanks for fixing the bugs, nice work.
    As a suggestion, some of us get the latest build from BuildBot and it would be nice to know what version this is so we don't double download the same thing. It would cut down your bandwidth as well.

  2. terminate called after throwing an instance of '__gnu_cxx::__concurrence_lock_error'
    what(): __gnu_cxx::__concurrence_lock_error
    Abort trap

    THANK YOU, gurus, for still catering to those of us Mac fans
    whose hardware is not yet up to 64 bit address spaces!

    However, your current 2.64a (32) doesn't want to launch
    on my OS 10.6.8 3GB Core 2 Duo :(

  3. OK: Your 64-bit version works for me, after complaining that
