Blender Meetup: Seattle, October 6

3

Blender Heads in Seattle are meeting this Saturday.

Oscar Baechler writes:

The next Seabug is coming up on Saturday, October 6th from 2 to 5:30. One event is happening for sure at this next meetup: hang out with fellow blendernauts as we watch Tears of Steel, the newest open movie from the Blender Foundation!

If you've got a project to show or a desire for a certain topic to be explored, let me know and we'll plan accordingly. Til then, here's what's on the menu:

  • Tears of Steel screening!
  • Round table on a venue change: Lake Washington Institute of Technology has offered to host Seabug. (This Oct. 6th meeting would still be at AIS.)
  • Animation? Compositing? Boids? Video masking? What do YOU wanna see?

Hope to see you there! Discuss and RSVP at our Meetup page.

Do you want to start your own Blender meetup?

Check out our 'Usermeetings near YOU' page to see how you can register a town, get in touch with local Blender users and get your own Blender meetup going.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
