That is awesome. I love reading about the slightly more eccentric uses of Blender.
Great tutorial. Well paced and very clear. It's even inspired me to re-work some of my ancient 2D graph animations using Blender, since its animation system (and ability to use mathematical expressions) provide endless opportunities for this type of work.
