An original design for a Sci Fi Shuttle. I’m selling a fully textured version of this model, but I figured I could part with the mesh for free. Enjoy!

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Oh yes , I seen this one couple of weeks ago at TS , I couldn't do a comment there :) but hey , I think it is very impressive ship , very nice model .

    • I made this model... to answer your question, there was no specific inspiration that I am aware of.  However, I am a huge sci-fi geek, so I probably stole design cues subconsciously...

  2. would you mind if i use this model in a project, i won't be making any income off of it, just trying to generate youtube views and i will give you credit in my comments if so.

    •  I would not mind at all... I'd be honored.  At the BlendSwap site (where I originally posted it) it is tagged as CC0.  This means, basically, that you can do whatever you want with it:)  I got so much help while I was learning Blender that I feel obligated to give stuff away for free (mostly).  Please use it however you want.  But if you post a link to your final video, I'd love to watch it!  -Chris-

      •  I totally hear your point , I was just the same , I also did get that great community feeling , on many freely shared models (mostly spaceships ect :)  But I also think that creating nice ships and putting up on sites for commertial money making assets do also help Blender getting professional recognition world wide I think . When I saw your ship at TS , I was bit proud to see another nice blender model .

    • Took about 3-4 days.  The biggest problem is that I was designing at the same time I was making it.  I would constantly stop building it and say, "Huh... what else does it need."  So if I'd had a blueprint to work off of it would have taken a lot less time.

  3. by the way if you are interested in , building another starship for the community , If you dont mind ,I would like to design next ships drive system under sendercorp technology with you . Just for the fun :) ,and for the community .
