Some time ago we've been asked to build a system to let people in a trade fair to interact with the 3D model (displayed on a screen) of a product with more than 700 possible configurations, using the iPad as the remote control.
Of course we've used the Blender Game Engine :), and we coded an iPad application to wirelessly control the game.

Pretty Epic
That's some pretty impressive scripting there.
Now .. make Blender be able to export BGE games to iPad :D
Kidding - great work there!
Exporting Blender BGE games to iPad is work-in-progress for the open source gamekit project, you can check Momo from Yo Franky running around on Android and iOS here: http://gamekit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=354 Gamekit supports plenty of BGE logic bricks but uses Lua instead of Python.
Maybe I'm late to the party, as usual, but does this mean there's a possibility that someone could craft an app where a blender model could be seen and manipulated (rotated, etc.) on an iPad? Not looking for a full version of blender on an iPad (although it would be nice), but just to create .blend models and show them in 3d space on an iPad.
