Very clever! Wish it were longer so I could see more of your style.
on blender ?
No, I'm in the process of changing this site to MayaNation.
don't even think about it >:)
" No, I'm in the process of changing this site to MayaNation."
ahahahahaha
very nice work!
The first of April is in 15 days...
I know, I have to start thinking of a good one. This one was just sarcasm ;-)
Why would you want to downgrade the site like that?
(I thought you were smarter than my classmates, I thought you realized that Blender was better, I thought you were a nicer person)
P.S. If you do change it, it should be to GimpNation.
I thought you would understand the joke ;)
Beginners may not always know that, all non-blender posts are EXPLICITLY labeled "non-blender".
I would vote for explicitly mentioning "made-in-blender" in some posts, just like this one, because there are no external links.
I don't really care much for doing that - this is a Blender-centric website. It should be obvious that all featured news related to Blender, unless stated otherwise.
Complimenti, I love italian's stuff.
Nicely done.
The lighting and shading really do the trick. Did you use cycles?
I think I fell in love with the style of this animation :D
I'm w/ the Kiwi on this. Really dig this style. Been contemplating something very similar to this (pop-up book) for a future project. You're very creative and have a good eye!
I liked La7 before, now I like it even more! :)
Thanks everyone for the apreciation!
@Ryanjohnsond we did it with blender internal.
@5923b15df9b1e9b7cadd511cfc01df95:disqus the art director, Gaetano is a very talented artist and he deeply studied the pop-up style to make it working so well! :)
He did an amazing job. Love how the items pop-up and do a slight bounce as they land into place and the atmospheric fx is a nice pro-touch too. Gratz on landing that job and IMO hitting the ball out of the park! :-)
well done guys!
really well made man
With all due respect, I think this is not so impressive... I've seen much better works posted here on BlenderNation. FOUR persons involved on this?
Anyway, it's not bad itself... But far from technically/stylistically special. And this is just a *personal* opinion...
Depends what style you are into. I think 'simple' looking animation can be the hardest to pull off well. Altho stuff like the Transformers movies make my jaw drop...
It stands on its own. Is it a well executed piece that's professionally done? I would say, very much so; yes.
Lovely!
1. in Italy LA7 is a well known tv company
2. of course we can say that some not commercial things are better, but this one shows us that blender is professional: there are a lot of things involved, the time you need, the standard you must achieve, what they ask you...
3. in Italy blender is known but usually it's not used for commercial jobs; for Italian people this is a milestone! i hope that everybody know that this is made with blender
I Perfectly agree. In Italy we lag one step behind... They should really note that it's made with Blender!
Pretty much exactly what I'd like to work towards. Fantastic work, really.
Congratulations.
Great work :-) I'm very happy to see an Italian work made with Blender
it looks great !!
Awfully good article!. Wow, excitement level picks up again! Thanks :)
