Mango: Storyboarding has Started!

The first two members of the Mango team (Ian and David) have arrived in Amsterdam, and immediately started on the movie’s storyboard.

Ton Roosendaal writes:

David (arrived saturday!) surprised us this morning with a complete storyboard of the first three scenes. It’s A_M_A_Z_I_N_G! Here you see Ian and David going of the shots. It’s so much fun :)

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). It would be surprising not to have AMAZINg stuff from David! Hurrah! We are going to see great stuff coming out from this project!

But seriously, with these two working on the film, it ought to be quite something to see! Can’t wait to see it (and some more of the behind-the-scenes, too)!

You can’t miss it, David signs any of his tablet inputs or bad drawings, it’s as recurrent as than using “trademark” everywhere.:)

  I have nothing against the fact you don’t like my artwork , but let me teach you something for free : I don’t add a ™ on each of my pictures. Trademarks are for proprietary artworks, I use a CC-By license here ( a very open one ) and it needs a ‘attribution’ label to make me distribute my drawings under this free license. Most of my artwork are posted for free and I claim only the paternity of them. Thats why I write my name on it.
  So, problem ?
