Dissolve a logo (or any other object, I guess) with this tutorial by BlenderDiplom.

Blender 2.62 is out, and it contains something very special - the remesh modifier!

With that little helper, dissolving text in Blender requires a lot less work.

  1. Don't forget "Explode Modifier" is still the trigger of everything :) Because it helps Particle to break faces that "Remesh Modifier" rebuilt.

Classic but cool effect and things are easier to do.

  2. Sweet. I dig that look.

I've been doing something like this in the planetarium for corporate events and VIPs, except I play it backward so it looks like a lot of stars come together to spell out a message or form a logo.

  3. This is a great tutorial ! As my understanding of spoken english is not very good and much dependent on people accent, I really appreciate good written tutorials ! A big thank you for this one that helped me to better understand the use of several modifiers !
