Awesome, new updates to the BGE. I was wondering if they'd keep updating that. Good to see some continual progress on Blender as a whole!
Yeah, i hope BGE Harmony will be available in blender 2.63 release. Harmony phase 1 is ready quite a while ago.
the are plans to make 2.63 a nothing but bmesh build. bmesh goes in features locked and than its nothing but bug fixes until 2.63 comes out; bmesh is coming
It'd be worth putting off Harmony for a while to get Bmesh. I'm excited for Harmony, but Bmesh is ridiculously empowering.
where to switch between CPU and GPU? Its not on the old place
Its under User Preferences > System and in the bottom left corner.

StieMo is right. The Experimental option is still there but not the CPU nor GPU.!!

Cycles and blender is advancing at a rapid rate.
I seem to get fireflies in cycles where it used to be fine.
Anybody else noticed something similar?
Ah, it´s not only me then. I think it might have increased, but I haven´t tested it properly.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!! I've been trying this, no problem till now, except for some dead pixels on cycles (pixel float value = -1.#IND), I haven't had time to check if it has been reported...

uhm the node for normal map seems not working, somebody can enlighten me ?
I don't know exactly... but it seems to be somehow ¿flipped? ...it will not correspond to what you are doing in the node for normal map, but try to find the angle!

Given that you have to apply it all the time, why bother doing remesh as a modifier at all? Why not do it as an add-on?

Boolean Modifier
The boolean modifier now uses the Carve library, which should give much improved results. This library is more stable and faster, resolving old well-known limitations of our previous library. - r43428
Note that behavior was changed for some objects. For example with flat objects, like a plane-sphere intersection, it now gives a plane with circular hole instead of a plane with hemisphere.
I hope new improvements in this library, but apparently not many changes in last 6 months. The last release was in August:

The boolean modifier speed improvement with that Carve library is way beyond my expectations, from lot of minutes with the old boolean code to a dozen of seconds with this Carve library in RC1, amazing
