Dublin, November 16: Free Blender workshop!
Dave Larkan writes:
Redbrick, Dublin City Universities Computing Society, is holding a workshop on Blender for Beginners on Wednesday the 16th of November in Dublin City University. It's open to everyone and we hope to get as many blenderheads there as possible. We'll be covering the basics of modelling and lighting and showing folks just how great this piece of free software can be.
If you'd like to attend you can just drop on by on Wednesday at 13:30. If anybody has any questions feel free to email me at [email protected].

Dublin!? But that's where I live!? I didn't think there was any Blender activity in Ireland! Might find myself heading along to this!
Rory please do. We'd love to see as many Blender users there as possible. It is a beginners workshop but I haven't met any Blender users in Ireland as of yet :(
I can't make it but it's great to have some blender activity in Dublin/Ireland :)
Hey I live in Dublin, just my second week in Ireland and what a surprising announcement:) Not sure if I'll have a time in Nov 16 but surely I would like to keep in touch with all Blenderheads from Dublin!! I know Blender/Cycles pretty well and my goal is to work with it even commercially (or just alongside other 3D softwares). If anybody is interested in cooperation do not hesitate to contact me: +353 871830399.
best regards to all:)
Great I'll be there !
I'm up in Leitrim (in the country), just wondering whether there will be much of a turn out - long way to go with the wife and son in tow otherwise. I'm sure it'd be fun to see other users though. Thought I was the only one in Ireland!
