@ndy is still working on his stop-motion project, Omega. He was at the Blender Institute to use their renderfarm. In this video, Ton gives a demonstration of the state-of-the-art airconditioning system and takes a whiff of pure render air. Amazing.

And I complain about PC fans noise :)
did anybody else try to sniff their screen during the close-up of the vent? mmmm ... render-air ;)
Ohhhhhhhh! Render air!
Ah, yes- I am also here at the institute, also working on my stopmotion project OMEGA, not so much using the Renderfarm though- but enjoying the noise while taking a shower.
Ton, I like your T-Shirt a lot ! Independent Skateboards ! Ton like Skateboards !
Rocks !
About the Air - Cooling solutions often times consume Oxigen, and sorry, but that's not suitable to home warm during winters, unless you make an indirect way of Heat swapping. Anyway, It's near from What I have here in Brazil, but I also developed a way to cool down CPUs with water using a central pump. For now, I live in an apartment, and when Final instalations of Grey Silica are done, I will develop an exotic way of Heat transfer with recycling energy involved, in order to low my costs of operation. Anyway, I love our experimental engineering, why not be free also with hardware ???
:)
ook ook ook!!, Ima seeeing suzzanes.¸¸.•´´¯`'•._.•
Note to self, if I ever build myself a renderfarm, buy water blocks and a heat exchanger.
Ton is a funny guy..~_~
Cool!
Just to say something... uh..
I propose to print blender render equation and mesh data on paper and hire 10 monks, to manually calculate pixels colors, an then enter the pixels values back to computer. In this way a lot of electricity will be saved, and global warming will be delayed.
@zomby that may not actually help ... the methane expelled by a glutonnous drunken monk far exceeds the greenhouse emissions of an equivalent server.
Better hire army of monkeys:)
hahahaha... Sup.
PETA will protest against monkeys.
