Cape BUG Meetup – Tue, Sept 20

Blender Users in Cape Town, South Africa, are meeting up this Tuesday.

Jarred writes:

A Cape BUG meetup will be held this week, Tuesday 20th (18h30-20h00) at UCT in Cape Town, hosted as part of UCT’s LEG (Linux Enthusiasts Group).

Topics include:

  • This is a first time event so there’ll be an introduction about the users who are present and when/where everyone uses Blender.
  • Touch base with an introduction to Blender to bring everyone onto a level playing field.
  • Talk about the Games Development projects for which some Computer Science students have been creating assets in Blender.
  • Brief coverage of Blender in production by referencing projects such as Tube and the Handturkey 48hour projects.
