Angry Birds Asian Challenge advertisement

We at Kombo made an animation promoting Finnair’s Angry Birds-themed flight from Helsinki to Singapore. Kombo is a Finnish animation studio that now is a part of Rovio Entertainment Ltd.
The ad was animated completely in Blender, only some additional compositing was done in After Effects. I’m happy that I finally had the chance to test out Blender’s animation capabilities on a bigger scale and it did the job perfectly. The animation tools are solid and for me Blender is simply the most pleasant program to rig characters in.

To sad that there is no OpenSource clone of Angry Birds, even if the GFX is already there as you see in the great clip :D and the physics engine Box2D is OpenSource, too :P
