Animation shorts can be submitted for the Conference Festival now, in Categories "Best Short", "Best Design" and "Best Animation".

@ike ahole: I can understand having a time cap, but as the Blender user base expands and more people make ambitious projects, I hope there'll eventually be a slot for longer works, even if they're not as part of the festival.
@chris - well since mine is too long, and since it's not designed for everyone, i hope Light At The End gets picked for an award. I'd like freestyle to get some recognition this year, and beyond that it's just really good.
