I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. I wish more things like this occurred in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. There seems to be a large void of instructional support in this region for Blender. Videos and tutorials do help a lot, but having hands on with someone who's well educated with the program would help considerably more.

I'm already missing out on this years Siggraph and that's making me a very sad puppy.
