Excellent work!! I'm curious on how you did the fish eye lens effect... that was pretty cool.
Great work, I love the warm colors! I also found your tree tutorial and it seems to produce excellent results: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZNJmcEBeFA
@jeff s
The one around 0:32? Looks like a panorama render :)
Blender is so cool. Great work btw.
Fantastische Arbeit; wirklich toll ge-textured, supercool. Danke auch für´s making of.
Great job Lino.
Awesome, I really like the use of Google Earth :)
Yeah! I love the titles too!
@jeff s: change the focal length on your camera to get the fish eye effect. Cheers!
@loopduplicate
That, and enable the 'panorama' option. ;)
thanks guy's I'll play around with it, never really thought about it or tried it before :)
Excellent! :) (But what are you showing it many times for?)
Oh thanks for the feature here, im glad you like it! :)
tuuba: what does "(But what are you showing it many times for?)" mean?
fisheye look is done with a short focal lenght and the panorama render mode ;)
kind regads lino
Amazing, Lino!
But I thought that works like this can be done easier using matte painting techniques (projections and re-use of existing photos).
I don't speak German, so my understanding of this Making-of was shallow-minded (especially in those moments where the screen shows no action).
moolah: the actual task for me was: create this existing building without using the refernce images as textures. the whole thing was a small battle between me and a friend of mine, who also done the same building but in the valve hammer editor.
im sorry that i dont speak english in my videos, cause i just cant speak english as fluently as i want it to be..
aha! Challenges made us artists :)
That's OK about English. Anyway I got a lot of useful info and inspiration.
Just one question: what editor did you used for trees? Is it Arbaro or some other program... Or it was made entirely in Blender?
moolah: it was made entirely in blender, i do have a tutorial on my youtubechannel for even better made trees, its in german, but maybe you get an impression how it could be done. this trees in the video are ugly :/ now i know how it works and my newest trees look fine ;)
Lino, this is amazing work and your lighting setup is especically awesome. Is there any chance you could make the Blender file available? Maybe with just the lights, and everything else deleted, if you would rather not give away all your work on this.
Thanks, Lino!
I'll check your tutorial!
