Bartius Crouch has done it again with two neat little scripts. The first is a theme manager that enables importing and exporting of UI themes without having to change your default blend settings. The second is a loop tools script, with a whole bunch of features for bridging and lofting edgeloops, adding holes, and smoothing and refining edgeloop distribution. Kernon Dillon has put together a nice overview of the two scripts at BlenderNewbies, with videos and links to forum posts about the scripts.

Nice - that first one could help with getting your preferred UI in place when opening a 2.49 file or a blend file from someone that uses a radically different UI setup.
The loop tools sound cool too. I'll have to check it out.
ephdot, you can do that already by unchecking "Load UI" in the file open window.
Great scripts, I'm using loop tools very often, still have to try the theme manager. Thank you, Bartius!
@sanne - thanks I never noticed that.
Loop tools is amazing!!! Thank you!
Unfortunately already broken by API changes. please re-pot when worked out
Mike P: could you say what isn't working for you? I always try to keep my scripts up-to-date with the current API.
Wow! Loop tools looks so useful. I have been missing the Skin Faces tool, and this goes a lot further than that!
