  1. 3dbuzz tutorilas are awesome, they also has a lot of free unity (a powerfull game engine with a free indie version full compatible with blender)tutorials

  2. The second drop is available as well, from the open house forum over there.
Very indepth and thourough as always, really looking forward to what comes next once the UI is done.

  3. Is there anywhere I can see a feature-for-feature comparison of Blender 2.57b and the latest 3ds and Maya?
To be specific, I'm wondering if those other two packages have anything approaching the changes that Brecht is making to the internal renderer.

  4. I cannot believe I have been living without knowledge of this wonderful site,
The blender Tutorial are too basic for me but...
I can now learn Unreal Engine 3.
Thank you very much for this Post

  5. Wow, awesome! I was disappointed for the longest time with 3DBuzz because it seemed like their tutorials where all elitist .. but with Blender tutorials entering this arena it makes my appreciation for the wealth of knowledge this site has renewed!

Can't wait to see more! I have a lot of people who are interested in Blender and this series may possibly be the best introduction.

  6. Hey pixnlove, indeed, that's a great and really helpful site! I've been a subscriber since 2005 and learned a lot of 3DS Max thanks to this guys. As for the Blender videos, just be patient :) I'm sure this guys will come up with something really interesting about Blender :) For me, they're just great, I used 2.4x for some time and got used to that interface and workflow,, and since 2.5x I've had some trouble getting to grips with the new interface, so this came out just in time ;)

  7. Hi, I'm not THAT much of a noob... honest. But I can't for the life of me figure out where rigid body physics are in blender 2.57b? Under the physics section it has:

    Force field
    Soft body
    collision
    fluid
    cloth
    smoke

But no rigid body? Has it moved? I basically want to make one of those 'Cube being smashed by another cube' type thing. If there is another way that you guys know of then please share! ;)

    Cheers very much.

  8. @Gelous You'll need to use the gameengine for that. (Use the roll-down where you select rendering engine, put it to blender game and you'll be presented with new options for your objects etc.)
You'll find a lot of info at the BA forums, so go have a look over there ;-)

  9. 3dbuzz rocks as a site, and these vids are great quality just like all their training vids.

Also don't miss out on the blender forum there too ;)

  10. RAR-files?????
    Free Tutorial in RARs ???
Can they be mo polite to users? Zip would be ok. 7zip would be grate for compression (even better then rar)
