CGBoomers.com Tutorial Website

11

The Blender tutorial website CG Boomer has a quite unique approach. It is targeted more for the older audience who wants to learn producing work in 3D. It is maintained by Hans Erickson, who is now a retired manager from the construction industry. As he states he got interested in 3D-CG through playing some online games such as WoW.

He has a strong interest in furniture and hardware modeling but also hosts a basic set of video instructions rangering from basic Blender introductions as well as some character modeling and animation.

His videos are hosted via Vimeo and in addition he also offers often the source Blender files.

  1. Thank you for your kind remarks.

Actually I never thought of my site as being a "Tutorial" site but rather an Anthology as I muddle through making my short film.

Blender and the Blender Community has been a huge part of my life these past few years and I love to share the little that I have.

    Respectfully

    Hans B Erickson

  2. Thanks for the lead! Now that Linden Lab is about to introduce mesh modeling to Second Life there are thousands of people who want to learn 3D modeling, and sites such Hans' come handy. I'll check it out and will send people over through my blog MetaLibrary.
