I have a LONG history with Blender – I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-)

  1. Maybe only for exhibitors?! It looks like everybody has to pay, and since the tradeshow is one of the main parts of it, I don't think they will let everybody in without payment.

  2. Officially, the Trade Floor is part of the FMX conference and you need a ticket for it.
Inofficially there is no ticket control at the entrance to the trade floor itself.

  3. Have been there the last years and the tradeshow itself has always been free. Tickets only got controlled at the entry to the speeches. The tradeshow was relativly small but If you plan to travel there i have to recommend you to study the programm (and always check for changes). There are always some cool speeches.. maybe a ticket may be worth (even if they are quite high priced, as far i can remember).
