Blender article in BSD Mag
BSD Mag is a free monthly online publication. Its last number includes an article entitled : Introduction to Blender . Made for those who use Blender for the first time, it contains an presentation of the user interface with simple explanations of navigation, modelling and lighting (only mentioning textures under the buttons list), and a small mention of the sequencer for video editing and the game engine.
