  1. In the future, PLEASE forgo the annoying music. Even silence is better than youtube videos where people add annoying background music.

This isn't a good method for camera shake, can't animate the intensity. Even if you could, you would have to animate it for all three locations, and if you were doing it properly, all 3 rotations.

I was worried, see. I used a working version of this in my project, I'm glad to see that people won't just assume I'm copying the tutorials, since this method doesn't work for anything except what Andrew Price used it for.

You guys are way too supportive when it comes to stuff in blender. Seriously, stop creaming your jeans over every little thing. If you want blender to be a competitive application you should judge it by the standards of a competitive application.

For those of you who arn't aware, to do this right make an empty, apply the noise to that, add two constraints on your camera for copying location and rotation. make sure to check offset on both of them. Create a custom property for your shake, and link it with drivers to the two influences. Now when you set shake at 1, the camera shakes with the empty, when at 0, it's still.

Note: The copy transform constraint doesn't support offset, even though it SHOULD be what you use for this, you can't do it sensibly without parenting the shake empty to ANOTHER empty for the camera to follow.

Second, more important note: This is a complete hack. The fact that we have to do this is a BAD thing, you should be able to add modifiers to keying sets, and you should be able to animate modifiers. you can't do either, and it should bother you. Since every other 3d animation package is easily capable of this and more. You may now resume praising the tutorial.
