Blender wins PortalProgramas Open Source award

Users of this popular Spanish website voted Blender #1 as “Most revolutionary Open Source”.
The award – 300 euro – has been received and will be spent on our documentation project, especially for improving our wiki.blender.org website.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.

Blender is the best software i have used for 3d, no other program can give so much for the user. Congratulations for the blender community. Really thanks for give Blender for us to use. Costa Rica is my country, Blender is my program of choice. Thanks!!
