  1. first post!!!

im thinking about voting for both sintel and super blender galaxy, and that one of them will win.

    May the best win!(obviously ;) )

  2. Sega does what Nintendon't on

Super Blender Galaxy smells like cease & desist letter from Nintendo... a MAJOR breach of copyright if you ask me. And that folks, would be really bad publicity for Blender.

The author is obviously talented and I see no problem with little private mario clones in general as copying existing material is one form of learning but taking part in a competition and possibly winning it due to 8 year old wiitards voting for it. Shouldn't the award be handed for the Mr. Miyamoto or am I missing something?

  3. @Sega does what Nintendon't 1, I love your username and 2, I heartily agree - having said that the gameplay and camera are flawless. Still stuck on those boxes on the second level though.

  4. Generous competitors, please, add videos and more screenshots. Unfortunatelly not everybody have enough time to check every game (now here is a lot of games).
@Core43 - screenshots link is broken.
BTW - I can't get Super Blender Galaxy's idea... Why not to create own characters? Own mood and design.
Asteracers is the nice looking game but controls aren't comfortable and preferably to have more views (from nose, cabin, tail) because it's default view is really bad for playing. Also it may have some more physics thus 1500MPH speed can't be really able to turn a racer on 180 degrees that fast. It must be a very big radius.
I liked The Chronicles of a Ghost Driver - the idea is really cool and video is very promising. I'll play with this game later.
Sorry that I didn't wrote anything about other games. Some of them I decided to play later and some of them I didn't liked just seeing screenshots. So better to add links on videos.

  5. Luckily Nintendo is very lax about fan projects based on their games. Just look at Mario Crossover. While it would have been nice to see an original concept, it is still a very impressive display of the BGE.

  6. I get the message below on every link except the game "Overkill"

  7. I'm getting the same as Lynchy's post above.
looks like some promising games, and once it's up again I'll be sure to check them all out and vote.

  8. Everybody seems to have reached their bandwidth cap !
No way anybody else could even try to really vote fairly for any of these games !

  9. Go to the VOTING thread and visit PAGE 3, on the top of it you will find a conclusion of the entrants and their entrys in LINK format, leading to their personal blenderartists threads and/or downloads :)

  10. Thanks for the links!
But as Scott has pointed out, some games are Windoze-only - only exe, no blend file, no other platform...
That's sad, Blender itself being open and cross-platform...

  11. Of all the games that I could start on Linux, Accelerated Delivery is definitely my favourite. A fun and very playable little game. with a unique concept and nice music. It will be very enjoyable once I can continue the game at the level I last finished at (now it's a blend file, so I have to start at the beginning each time I run the file). Also, it would be nice to be able to move the camera up and down, now it's just left-right.
