  1. Hi! It's great to see works from you again and also Great is this video, very well done!
I'm impressed with the ivy. Do you know a working link were I can download the Ivy generator for linux? I'm interested on it :)

  2. @Dandzik, surely you mean "non" ^_^

For me it's definitely "Ah oui!". Great textures in the roof and walls. I would like to see a wireframe render of this to see the topo.

  3. Nice model, looks really well done.
The only thing, I'm not totally satisfied with, is the texturing of the roof: the repetition is too obvious and also somehow distracting.
In my eyes this little "mistake" ruins the whole image, which is too bad, since the modeling and the texturing of the other parts are well done and beautiful.

Please take care in future when yu're texturing models!

    Greets,
    Blaise

Blaise: ahah you're right, I had not even seen the repetition on the roof, I must really be blind ... I was too busy with stones .. Next time, i will be more carefull !

euklev: thanks you ! Tripeace here : http://vimeo.com/13523113

Thanks again for all ! And thanks to Bart for his kind words :)

  5. Hi, Dono!

The model is really great!!! But I don't think that reflecting ground was a good idea - it acts distracting on a viewer (on me does)
Also I think that Blender's internal will handle this scene better and you get clearer result (for sure).

Just saw Tripeace - awesome and very funny ))) Great story design!

P.S. Thanks for the wireframe screen!

  6. cool.

I'm a little bit intrigued by your modeling technique(I'm quite an amateur myself). Did you piled the blocks by hand or was there a script involved? I noticed you modeled the basic shape of the house underneath all the details, was just that a reference? a snapping reference?

Cool and instructive, I must add. Thanks a lot.

  7. Beautiful, but you made a close view on the tiles over the door and they have no thickness.

En français, ça sera mieux : super travail, mais tu fais un gros plan sur les tuiles au-dessus de la porte d'entrée, or celles-ci n'ont pas d'épaisseur, c'est dommage.

  8. Hello !

Again replies , thank you very much !!

    Russ: thanks !

joeri67: ahaha, you didn't understand the story ? ^^ You didn't like the cliffhanger at the end ? :)

Grandmaster B: happy you like it !

Moolah: yes, may be i will add some background and grass if i have energy ! Yes, with blender, you can have a different render, i wanted to try octane in this wip to see what it does. You could download the blend, render it in blender, and show what you think ? Happy you like tripeace ! :)

rogper: you're welcome ! Orion Tear is one of my favourite animation in blender ! ;)

    Breg: thank you !

differentsmoke: Yes, i piled the blocks by hand, with shift+D ;) I tried normal maps and displace, but i was not happy with the results... Yes I modeled the basic shape of the house underneath all the details, it was just that a reference to place blocks :)

RooL: yes, you're right !!! Héhé oui en effet, bien vu ;) En fait j'avais pas prévu au début de faire de gros plans ahah, et après j'y ai plus pensé quand j'ai changé les axes de caméra...

JamesF: Thanks, no i havn't a big resolution for it, sorry ! i will try to make it !

djallalnamri: thank you ! yes, may be i will add some grass !

    banor: thank you !

Happy you like it ! Thanks for all this replies :)

  9. I'm trying your scene now! :) I'm guessing that this "stone coverage" was made with particle system (with Grid setting?), isn't it? Or it can be Randomize Transform function - BTW it's the very cool feature which I saw in other program previously )

  10. Hello and thanks for replies :)

Moolah: I don't know very well the particle system or scripts, so i put stone one by one, with Shift+D and scale ;) I took me just 1 hour, it's ok :)

Wildrune11: Thanks ! Yes, i don't control very well octane yet, the next time !..

    Cheers :)
