Blender course at the “Leipzig School of Design”, Feb 18-20
Sebastian König will be hosting a three-day Blender training in Leipzig, Germany from Febrary 18-20, 2011.
I will be giving an introductory course to Blender at a new design school here in Leipzig, Germany. It takes place on the weekend of 18th – 20th February 2011. The course will cover the basic concepts of 3d modeling and animation and give a good foundation for everybody who wants to start out with Blender.
During the 3 days the students will learn how to use Blender’s mesh-modeling tools, how to use the modifier-stack for non-destructive modeling methods, how to use Blender’s material system, how to light and shade and how to render your creations with Blender’s internal renderer. Based on time and interest we’ll take a look at external renderers and the built-in compositor – it will be a kickstart into the art of 3D creation with Blender!
The main target group will be designers, artists and filmmakers who want to take the chance to dive into the vast and open world of 3D art and animation.
The course costs €340,- plus taxes.
For more information please have a look at the school’s homepage.

If you ever give one in Sarasota Florida, I’ll exchange room and board for a free pass.
I wish I could be there (Germany) and With €340. I live in INDIA. My bad luck. :(
