I'm proud to present my personal project i've been working in between jobs, little by little since 2008. I don't know how many time will take to finish it, but by now it's online with two of 21 shorts finished.
Vacui Spacii | Empty Spaces
21 words; triggers feelings. Empty spaces begin to fill with sounds and images to be reframed. This project is a collaboration between the music composer Nikila (France) and the artist Martín Eschoyez (Argentina), and documents the completion of 21 short films being made in 3d Open Source software (blender) with video, images, source files and soundtracks released under Creative Commons licenses.

My favorite video from yours in vimeo is Pixelations Visual Tour 2010 http://vimeo.com/11342847 I found it in Blenderartists awhile back.
@All By the way, I want to see more Motion Graphic Design that was done using Blender 3D.
Congrats on your efforts.
IMHO, it is one of the most interesting works presented here.
Conceptually powerful, interesting and inspiring.
Keep it up and good luck with creating the other 19!
I like it. I bookmarked the project website.
And I see you got better synchronization in part III than in part II, so you're evolving.
Is there no part II yet? :)
very nice ! congrats !
There will actually be 21 of these? Epic!
Also can't wait for the source files...
Now this is amazing.
For some reason, experimental aesthetics and Blender seem to fit together beautifully in a conceptual sense.
Beautiful visuals.
The music unfortunately is just some overly precious electronic sh*t from early 2000s. Sounds like a cheap rip-off of Aphex Twin with no soul and just random interference and artsy analog quitar samples. Dime a dozen. Not good at all.
@ghatz - This music sounds nothing like an Aphex Twin ripoff to me. Not even close.
Wow! I'm in Blendernation! :D Thanks Bart!
@Whimsy:
with Blender 2.5 motion graphics will be easier than ever!! I'm doing a lot of experimentation with modifiers and the new set of tools... i love it! have you seen this one? i like it a lot. http://www.vimeo.com/6350153
@TomsT:
i think that this is too much for me! i'll do my best to suit your expectations!
@Zecc:
I'm doing it without order. i choose randomly, listening to the wonderful soundtracks.
@Scott:
the first blends will be posted tomorrow, i think. ;)
@ghatz:
The music IS NOT what you say, but a big effort and internal journey from another artist, and with a lot of soul.
Sad for you that you can't reach that :(
But, having the sources uploaded, you'll have the opportunity to make some interesting music to remix or re-create the concepts you like! ;)
Thanks everybody!
@martin eschoyez Oh snap! I have something alike but no animated yet. http://www.whimsycoll.com/announcements/compositingtrialinblender252devbuild
@martin eschoyez "DadáMini visuals" I <3 it! You've motivated me even more buddy! Let's connect http://www.facebook.com/pages/Whimsy-Collective/111145355591255
On 2:28, you have this white cirles effect going on, how did you do that in blender?
Thanks!
Great animation
Very nice music :-)
I also like the animations, but I think they could be better synchronized with the music. It might be an artifact of palying it over the web, though...
Loved it. These videos are so hypnotic, music and animations are great!
Thanks people! soon the Blends, with some comment about those techniques! i'm workin on it!
I love these kinds of animation. It's nice to see blender used in more motion graphics projects.
