Watch Sintel on the big screen Nuremberg: Oct 21/22
Watch Sintel in a cinema, for free in Nuremberg, Germany.
At KommKino Nuremberg, which is Gold Sponsor for Sintel, there will be a free screening of the grand short film at 21st and 22nd of October.
The KommKino and Raubkopictures held a few screenings of BBB, ED and other short films under Creative Commons License at various places to collect donations for Sintel. All those donations have been merged into a Gold Sponsorship. Now that the movie is released, it’s time to celebrate!
Not only Sintel will be screened, but also other short films under Creative Commons license. At the end everyone who brings a USB-drive can take those short films home.
On 20th of October there is a special event at the Open Suse Confernce in Nuremberg where Sirko Kempter will do a presentation on Open Movies in general (no Sintel there, but lots of interesting information and even more short films).
So lets have fun and celebrate Sintel

As there is no BlenderUserGroup or things like that near Nuremberg,
I’m wondering whether it’s a good idea to search for some blender-users at the event
and discuss the idea of starting something like a BUG.

mitra2, I was thinking the same. That would be great. Anyway, in case you don’t know it yet: The german blender community blendpolis organizes a yearly user meeting (I think it was in Esslingen) so you might want to check that out :). It’s weird that we are chatting in english ;). Btw I’m proud being a German now, knowing that Scott is from Germany ^^.
