  1. Wow ! I'm so suprised . I even didn't dream to be cover especialy when I'm only 17 years old :O Thank you all for promoting me in CG world. It will help me a lot in future :)

Greetings to all blender fans, and artists !

  2. Sandra Gilbert, I saw the article on Dark Biome, and I'm stunned!
when I wrote the text with humor and irony, I admit that I will
never thought it published without editing by Blender Art Magazine.
Incredible, you did! And beyond my surprise I have many crisis to
laugh when I look at the article!

I regret a single thing, not having provided sufficient
screenshot and text for the design or the synopsis of the games.

  3. Very very intrigued by the idea of "Diesel-punk", but it doesn't work for me as much as "Steam-punk" does. There doesn't seem to be enough of a separation from Steam-punk to Diesel-punk.

When I first heard of the term "Steam-punk" I was fascinated. Especially fascinating is the re-creations of the gadgets of today (cell phones, PCs) that are powered by steam, in a Victorian style design. Looking through the links on page 31, I didn't find any diesel-punk gadgets of today (ie: diesel-punk laptop).

Then there is Atomic-punk, Bio-punk, Nano-punk, Internal-Combustion-Engine-punk, and Torque-punk. Why even use the word "punk"? It just means 'style', right?

  4. Hello Rafster,

The term "steam-punk" is tough for the purists.
A steam engine when it is the structure of its mechanism may
never be a computer if you want to preserve an overall logic.
For the most interesting work is to create machines that could
operate in a subjective reality invented from scratch but with
    a high percentage of rationality.

But the vapor alone can be boring if it is the predominant actor in history.
Let's just say that defining a environment with the machine age associated with
steam as the main engine is exciting if the other machines receive the benefit
of junior energy. As dynamos, electric motors, a whole resulting functionally
the same inertia of steam. The loan to other energy resource (diesel) does not
directly harmed the style in which steam is included. The term "punk" can take
so many meanings associated as "steam-punk" it is perhaps more appropriate to
explore the Net without a clear idea. And it's good to say, each work has its
vision of personalized style "steam-punk" the paradox of rational freedom!
