Grossssssssssss
No rimará con "Bicentenario" pero qué bien!!!
Yirrrr vamooo
how do people ever get time to go to these events? :/ *envy*
Do you people have any idea what Ernesto "Che" Guevara was? Why do you associate a murderer with Blender?
Che means friend,
has nothing to do with Ernesto
Yes, thank you. I understand in Argentina "Che" has the meaning of friend, pal, buddy, etc. However, in the much of the world the word has become sinister, because of the killings and murders he committed. Some fools in America even ware his nickname and image on tee-shirts. Why use the word in conjunction with Blender?
Yes, I pray they mean the word che, and not the name Che. He wasn't just a murderer, he was Castro's executioner. He was a little Hitler. Countless thousands were killed by him, and he is made out to be some war hero. He is as much as a hero as Hitler is.
But I'm sure Che!Blender is just for friend. I mean, honestly, I don't think Blender Foundation would be that blind. ^_^
@reugene and Mushi: "Che!" stands for "Hey" in Argentina. It's not meant to be related to any famous character of argentina or cuban history.
That being said, I recall this was not a site particularly tolerant to political debate. Stating that Che Guevara was a little Hitler, or that people wearing t-shirts with Guevara's face is dumb, sounds to me VERY political and debatable.
Let's keep our political views for ourselves.
Mushi, reugene: Guys, seriously. A little research before posting that kind of comments, please.
I feel tempted to ask you where you got those ideas about what "che" means or who Ernesto Guevara was (who, by the way, was called "che" by cubans because he used that interjection a lot, as we argentians do) but as malefico said, this isn't the right place to discuss this kind of things.
Anyway, as a friendly advise, do some research, guys. Make sure before dropping such a bomb that could be extremely offensive to others.
Back to the topic...
Nos vemos en la Che!Blender cheeeee! ;-)
Ohh estoy muy lejor para ir... encima tengo que ir a la escuela ¬¬
Bueno ojalá otro día se haga mas cerca :D
Saludos!
By the way malefico, are we going to see you at the next Blender Conference, in Amsterdam? I'll be there... perhaps you don't remind me but I'm sure it would be nice to see each other.
If not, I hope the best for your argentinian meeting!
Regards,
Raimon
I hope to make some time and go...
like marrone used to say: CHEEEE!!!
Yahhhh I wish I could go there again. But since last performance of the "Seleção" I'm not sure I can stand the mocking :P
Seriously now, if you live anywhere at a fly distance (hm wouldn't that mean the whole world?) do a favour to yourself and attend the conference. The mood is fantastic, the people amazing, and well it's all about Blender.
Ah to speak Spanish may help, but it's not mandatory I would say :)
Esa! La hacen cerca esta vez ahora voy de cabeza!
Ayudo a difundir =D, espero poder ir.
