I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
Andrew Price continues to prove himself an asset. Good work Andrew! It would be nice to see a how-to on animating the smokey layer (procedural texture layer).

Excellent game and tutorial. Keep up!
Anyone good enough modeling wanna do a Selendis Blender Model? under CC or something like that. I will love him/her forever. Promise! LOL. (Search "Selendis Protoss" under Google Images)

HAH!! Everyone one is going SC2 mad!!! I love it!!
I really want to play SC2, but I'm resisting the urge!
If you could include a tutorial on that warp-field animation that goes with it, it would be even sweeter ;)
Don't play it. Games are like drugs, so addictive. You'll lose many hours of your precious lifetime for almost nothing.
All those hours of fun down the drain eh?

@Phrozen:
You can probably extract the model used in the portrait / cinematics (I'd imagine it's upper torso only) from the data files.
"Blender Guru Andrew Price". Has he now officially got the title from Blender Foundation? ;)

ST2 is a lame game when you expect it being that great and amazingly new.
it is like ST1 just in 3D - nothing else.
The single player campaign has some very interesting game concepts added
which makes it great to play and enjoy.
Sadly that did not make it into the multi player as well.
It would have added some seriously needed additions to the game play
and strategic thinking in how gamers approach the matches.
For 50 bucks I feel this is a little over hyped.
