Flipin great for beginners, but doesn't fancy me
I wish these type of videos were made when I started learning Blender. Specific and uncomplicated. But yeah no use for me either.
Seems great will starting to learn very soon
great job...
Wow, great resource.
I just watched the wave modifier video and I finally understand all the settings.
Thanks
I've been wanting to do a complete start-to-finish project in a stable 2.5
I've been looking for a detailed non-video locomotive/steam engine tut. with all the piston specs.
this site has a 300 page .pdf. on the modeling alone, then another .pdf for animation. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks!
This looks like an amazing resource! The amount of work put in is unbelievable! Extremely detailed and comprehensive, the resource is the first of its kind. It seems it's been around for a while, I wonder why it never got highlighted here. It's unique because it's a proper course, with all areas covered, not a random collection of tutorials.
Good Job dude, really impresive, it has helped me in some modifyres i didnt know how to use!
Really great!
Favorited!! I also love the full-course style resources. Great job Neil! I'm going to forward this to some of my teachers/professors that use Blender in their classroom!
Dear Editor,
It seems a lot of these get posted on BlenderNation. But whenever I'm actually looking for a video tutorial, I first start at the Blender.org site/wiki, and then do internet searches.
I like to see the highlights here, with the community reviews, but it would be a great service to the reader if you also updated the Blender site with these.
Thanks!
Dear Video Tutorial Posters,
Please try whenever possible to make your videos downloadable in addition to offering a streaming option. Since I often read posts like this during breaks (at work, at school, etc.), I usually don't have the time to run Blender at the same time. When I'm at home, like many people, internet access is much slower or nonexistent. It's invaluable to have a downloaded video that I can play back later.
Thanks!
Woot woot! I know what I'm going to be doing for the next week =)
Fantastic, I've been using Blender for years but this has already filled in some gaps in my knowledge.
HAHAHA!!! I've been trying to find a good starting point for my friend who wanted to learn Blender and this is it!!!
Thank you!!!
Awesome! Thanks a lot!
I would like to have the splash page to link to something like this. Its a great way to jump into the software. A wiki docs site is great for more info, but finding what you want can take a long time, and sometimes you just cant find a good explanation for things. Quick videos is a great idea. I agree with other posts, most video tutorials don't cover features, just workflow of whatever project they are working on.
Very well done tutes. You cover all the details.
Thanks for this resource!
