It's time again to start thinking about articles, tutorials and images for Issue # 29 of Blenderart Magazine.

The theme for this issue is “Industrial Revolution”

It's time to start our own “Industrial Revolution”. So gather up all your shiny and not so shiny heavily mechanized projects to share with us.

Here are a few ideas to consider:

  • Steam Punk
  • Industrial Machines: big and small
  • Factories and Industrial landscapes
  • Pipes, Gears & Gadgets
  • Grungy Materials suitable for industrial environments and objects

  1. MadMesh: They changed the order of things so that they put out the call for content for the magazine to follow before they release the next magazine. Gives potential contributors a bit more time to prepare!

  2. I think you have an error in the image size. right now you have this "Note: Image size should be of 1024x (width) at max." what is the max width?

  3. I do believe that is supposed to be pixels, but I wouldn't be too worried about max size as long as it isn't ridiculously big (as in poster or billboard size). We can always re-size images down, ourselves if need be.

  4. I know this is going to sound crazy but;

    Is it THE industrial revolution, or AN industrial revolution? Are we looking for time period styled items or would futuristic style industrial landscapes work as well?
