  1. Very nice. Pretty good pacing throughout, and impressive graphics. Despite the difference of the animals compared to reality, I really got the sense that these were real beings, with real responses to what was happening. The plot was a bit simplistic. Revenge revealed? Yawn. Besides, revenge is repulsive, not interesting.

  2. Great animation - excellent pacing of the story, there seemed to be a lot in the three minutes without it feeling forced.

  3. He did a good animation job, avoiding some Pixar-style clichés. But the Avatar-like plot is quite plain.

    Anyway, congratulations!

  4. Fantastic movie, one of the best I have ever seen that are made with Blender.
But it's a bit old news, I've seen it several months ago.

  5. trinitrotolulene on

Yes that really stands out. It has a wonderful dreamworld quality. It reminds me of oliver postgates animation. cheers.

  6. I really like the surreal theme. Modeling and animation are convincing a get the - sometimes creepy impressions - well delivered.

  7. Really interesting and imaginative.
Most probably it was intentional, but what i miss a lot in this short, is *music*

  8. Yep, awesome work. Great non-standard visual approach. I like the fact that it's not Disney-fied.

I don't get the "periscope" shot, however. At first you think it's someone on the ship. At the end it obviously isn't.

  9. Nice made!
I wonder how you did the water, I mean specially the crests? Is there some kind of tutorial around?
    Thanks a lot!

  10. Despite the flat and unconvincing materials and lighting, I was very surprised by the psychedelic and lsd-inspired characters. I liked especially the faces, the emphase on the eyes and the strange mix-up of animal and human features
