  1. Tried it yesterday, uploaded a blend file, it's still in a queue 24 hours later. Website gives little info, there is no direct link to your job list unless you log out and log back in again. So far, not worth dealing with some cowboy site

  2. comeinandburn on

I had the same experience as Richard... still no render! This has a maximum render of 50 frames and not much info as to what version it uses for rendering and what it supports.

    I wasn't impressed.

  3. Just use "vSwarm" - it supports Blender 2.49 and Blender 2.52 Multifile-Renderings. Linux Support will come in the next time and Luxrender is only temporarily disabled. It´s Free and fast...

  4. webshinra, no, it doesn't work on linux.
Author promised to make a linux version long time ago, but still no success.
But you can render your projects with vSwarm on any OS, because it uses just an FTP to upload files.

  5. vSwarm currently doesnt support Linux for the Client (if you want to share CPU-Power), Rendering is no Problem because it´s web/FTP based... The others will render for you.

The only Problem is that you need the Client to get RenderCreditPoints (with rendering on your machine). If there are no other Renderings in the queue your Renderings may be processed very fast, but with low Priority it will be slower...

The Team behind vSwarm have their own Linux-PCs and want to use them, so i think sometimes it will come, their now in a good phase, Multifilesupport came, then Blender 2.52 Multifile, and i think they said Linux is the next...

  6. awesome site..with render statistics.
seems to be in the early phase ..still beta
    but looks real promising
    and it's free
