  1. Cyberdyne agreed, unless you look at the guide lines for the challenge there is no information as to what it's all about. Could be guessing which are cg and which are real based on the name, but they are all cg, so just vote for the one you think looks most realistic.

I've seen so much cg work and done enough myself that all i can see are the mistakes lol.

  2. ouch, such bandwidth heavy images on that page. Judging by the title my expectations were pre-disposed to be a little bit too high. Have fun with them, and well done to the nominees, but a bit more of a realistic 'approach' as to how to arrange these votes would help. :D

  3. Link provided seem to show (uncarelessly) scaled versions...(they weren't 'clickable' to me)
However; Inner Yard - Marcus is the winner to me.(What's with the blue spots around the white cloud?)

    ps.
No, I'm not a frog expert, these objects typically fall in the category 'fake by default' if your not familiar with them... However the 'macrolens' setup is ok but would show the texture on the frog as well as on the branch. I would say the frog's really too (symmetrically) posing and a close-up branch probably won't look like a cilinder after all... :)

  4. I'm gonna go with one of the outdoor scenes. The one with the bookshelf looks good, but you can tell it's fake by the wooden figure on the desk. I have that model too, it's a nice rig.

  5. The outdoor scene's edges are a little hard... None of them are real; none of this even comes close to the old test that was there on autodesk's website. Donno if its still there though.

  6. Good form to all of the contestants. I think the entries are all exceptional, but none of them are convincing as "real".
