Hey guys, this is cganim8or here with a ten part, advanced array animation tutorial.
I've made a ten part tutorial series on making an advanced array animation with blender 2.5. I cover everything from start to finish. From setting up the array modifier, to adding a vector blur with the node editor.
Here's the result:
It's a great way to practice animation in blender 2.5, with a cool result! :)

Heheh, damn, I was looking for a tutorial on this very subject - many thanks
Nice!
I did some similar things (beside the regular ones) with only Object Mode PET in Blender 2.5

Cool effect!
"Carsten and mike pan" what are your points?
This person is offering help to show people how to do these things, not just show us the end result. We should thank him!
Thank you cganim8or
jakk: And mike and Carsten were just showing results they've had with similar/dis-similar techniques. Cool your jets.
@jakk: Carsten said "Nice!" ...and that's a direct quote.
Carsten, totally cool effect with the proportional editing tool, never seen that one before. Arrays are fun =)
I got lost with the hiding at 2:09.
absolutely awesome! I love it :)
first i loved the music....because i have just finished a mix...
now i needed a video to go along with it...and your tut is very, very inspiring!!!(thinking of stealing it for that purpose...only a joke of course!)
i love it too...but next time try a black background...no stars...no nothing...so that people can really enjoy watching...the contrast will help reveal more the animation...
Thanks for the great comments guys!
@jakk: Your welcome! :)
@djallalnamri: I'm glad you liked the music! I made it myself a few years ago.
Sounds great. I've been looking for an array tutorial. Looking with anticipation.
I'm currently working through your 10 part series and I'm absolutely loving it. It's really easy and enjoyable to follow, thanks for the great tutorials.
Great tutorial and well explained. I can't make sequences as cool as yours though.
I still need to work on it. :)
Wow, fantastic. Since I saw the first animation of that kind I wanted to know how to do this! Thank you!
Where's the link to the tutorial?
It's a YouTube playlist, you can also look up his nick in YT :)
