Paul Caggegi (creator of the Process Diary,) has been working on a series of video tutorials on poly-modeling a human figure. This month's episode is the fourth video in the series, covering the boots and hands.

Hi Blender Nation! It’s Paul Caggegi, back with another tutorial on poly-modeling a human figure. This immediately follows on from my last post.
This is the 4th in the current series, taking a character from initial concept to completed render. This video focuses on modeling the foot and hand. I’ve also made this available via a link on the blog in various sizes, one of which is HD, for better quality viewing.
Cheers, folks!

I woke up this morning wondering when you were going to post part 4 of the series (crazy:P) Great video man.
Paul is not only a strong and practical Blender user, he's also an extremely good speaker & teacher. Hope to see more from him
Yeah, hope to see it in 2.5!
Who cares about 2.49???
I do!!! since 2.5 is only it's Alpha version.
The video is cool... it is true.
But I hate Poly by poly modelling it is Boring to Watch
and it is so slow and time consuming.
But I have to admit I am very impatient like most of the genuis...
We do need a method simirlar to Z brush...
Somebody do something pllllleassee!!!
Thanks again Paul. Your video tutorials are always fun to watch. I especially like what you said about there not being only one way to model things. I think for me the process is always evolving and I love it when I learn something that I can use that is more efficient to replace something I do that is not so efficient. I always learn something from you.
Cheers guys. I am using 2.49 because Alpha 0 (and subsequently 1) isn't that stable. Crashing would make recording a bit more difficult. Suffice to say - most of the methodology transfers across. When a stable release of 2.5 comes out, you bet I'll be using it. It's always great to be relevant, I agree.
Next two videos will focus on Head, and then (my favorite part) detailing.
Any thoughts on music/no music?
