What are the showstopper bugs in question? Sounds good otherwise, though.
thankyou for your work!
and goodluck with durian development! :D
the most interesting part was gi stuff, i am so eager to see a better implementation :)
Uuuurrrraaaaa!!!!!
Blender is getting really dangerous, it already got the best interface ever, and now(at last) is going to get GI!!!!!!!!!!!
just freaking awesome!!!! poor autodesk should be crying!!! bu bu bu!
blender/durian developers you are the best!!!
but well you already knew that!
Thanks a lot
GBU!
smoke pots. good work btw!
I realy like the hearing of the modal operators and opengl announcements, having a few scripts in mind :) Yay
You guys are awesome!
Just squash the damn bugs now because the alpha fails for me at pretty much everything :D
Anyway, no going back to 2.49, since animation is not backward compatible and like the durian team said, it feels like stonage (since the 1st day I used 2.5).
Showstopper bug was probably the phantom disappearing texture problem when saving 2.49b files in 2.5x.
Can't imagine its a super hard bug to crush.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the GI tests turn out. Good luck, Brecht!!
That's what the community is waiting since..... really I don't know guys :)
GI comes true, we are all with you Brecht, waiting for your hard development and first impressions!
Bugs in the blender? I guess that's an extra-protein smoothie. I think I crashed into one of those big bugs when I tried to adjust user preferences.
Seriously, I love these updates. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. I'm with @Dread Knight - 2.49 feels archaic now. I find myself using 2.5 more and more these days.
2.51?
Show stopper bugs... any clarifications?
I wonder how each of the contributions help blender? Still they sounds good.
