Bits of Blender #39 - #41

8

'Bits of Blender' is a series of mini-videotutorials by John R. Nyquist. After a break, he's back now with three new episodes.

John R. Nyquist wrote:

My boy, Richard, and I have come out of a long hiatus. We just made two new
episodes of Bits of Blender. We're getting back into
the swing of things so pardon any rough edges. We're doing some things a little
differently, the biggest change is we now publish at at higher resolution. I am
also (finally) giving Vimeo a try (I've had an account forever but hadn't taken
the time), they look so nice there.

For those of you not familiar with "Bits", it is a set of casual tutorials done
by my 10-year old and me. We do them both for fun and to serve as a video
reference of many Blender features. We're warming up so we are ready for 2.5.
These cover in 2.49b. Enjoy!

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

    for 2 raisons:

    1. Well I said once, when I will have children
there will learn blender for the Younger age so that there will help me doing my project so that
we can have an happy family blending time, just like you two. (lucky people)

    2. These tutorial (all 3 of them) are very very useful, I learn new features in all of them (An I have been blender for 3 years now)

Thank you very much for your inspirational and educational session.

Extremely kind regards to father and son.
