New internship with Bassam Kurdali / BitFilms / Hampshire College

Here's a new opportunity for a great Blender internship with Bassam Kurdali.

Bassam Kurdali writes:

As you probably know, Tube is an animated independent short I'm working on at Hampshire college as part of two independent projects running in Bitfilms studio. We are coming into a new term at the college, and have announced a new round of internships. Last round was in the summer, when we had two interns on the project, Jarred De Beer (Capetown, South Africa) and Jamal Coleman (Massachusetts, USA). We're looking forward to the return of Jarred as a senior intern, and have new positions open.

    hi, I'm Nicolo, currently studying multimedia arts major in 3d, my first selection of software is blender. I am looking for a studio to have my internship, I would like to ask if there are any requirements regarding of age or educational background and how long will the internship would take?

    hey nicolo, the internship is for one term, Jan-term, coming up January to (I believe) May. To apply you have to be at least 18yrs old, a student, or a recent grad.
    Keep in mind this is not a paid internship, so if you need to travel, commute, etc. you will have to pay your own costs.

    Hello from sunny Philippines.

    This is Rowena Dela Cruz, the mother of Nicolo. You have mentioned that the internship you are offering is not a "paid internship"; thus, travel expenses are not included. In this regard, we would like to know if there is a provision of allowances for board and lodging.

    I am inquring because it has been his long time dream to work and enhance his talent in an international environment. So, we would like to know if our family finances can afford his allowance for daily subsistence.
