I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). @terry_wallwork: it's mostly blender. I used after effects just for a couple of old shots (for example, the part of the blond guy on the 3D background was made during the production of Elephants Dream, so the compositor wasn't too powerful and I didn't know how to use it either :-)
But today everything that is in this reel can be made with Blender easily. In fact, I've been using only Blender for my motion graphics work for the last year and a half without problems.
You can check more recent videos in my Vimeo stream, all of them made using only Blender.
@Create3D: Sorry, but the reel was intended for people younger than 60. I'll upload a new version with jazz or tango and less fps for the elderly :-p
oh, btw. For that old 360º shot of the blond guy I received some valuable tips from a very talented young man that looks like Carl Sagan (according to malefico) and happens to be the director of Sintel ;-).

WOW! buena reel Gez, impresionante , Tecmas, Le editorial, y la musica le va muy bien. Very good reel. impressive dynamic animations. i like the "la editorial" stuff specially. good to see you here . -Seriously, this is a great demo. I posted a couple of days back a comment about another demo in which I tried to spell out exactly what you've done. This is attractive, punchy, and shows just enough of each piece to whet the appetite, without being long enough to be boring. Well done.

If you're actually talking about that, it's just a test. There are a couple of old tests that I put in the reel to cover some holes and maybe I should replace.
This reel was created (in a rush, I must admit) for the Che!Blender conference with some stuff made with Blender.
