The Seattle User Group is meeting again this Saturday.
Oscar Baechler writes:
In early October the first Seabug (Seattle Blender User Group) was hosted at The Art Institute of Seattle, and was a ripping success! Modeled after old-skool Linux user groups, the focus of SeaBUG is to connect with other students, hobbyists and professionals throughout the Puget Sound to do some tutorials, show off personal projects, network and collaborate.
The next SeaBUG is on Saturday, December 5th, from noon to 6, at the Art Institute of Seattle's north campus, room #104. A variety of tutorials and project showcases are planned, as well as a round-table discussion and pitch meeting for a collaborative short.
Seating is already running low, so if you have a laptop, you're encouraged to bring it! And if you have a project you'd like to show off or a skillset you'd like to share, please do!
