Super-awesome facial rigging tutorial by David Ward, available now at BlenderCookie.com! Â This tutorial teaches you how to rig an alien face: head, mouth, and eye - even how to do "sticky eyeballs." :)
From the BlenderCookie.com page:
This tutorials covers how to create a more advanced type of facial rig, showing you how to use the “stretch to†constraint to give the face a more fluid way of animating. The “stretch to†is great for things like lips and eyelids (which is shown in this tutorial); in addition, I show you how to make the eyelids “stick†to the eyeball surface, so there's no unwanted gap between the two while animating.
:) super awesome! finally a good face rigging tutorial!
I've seen this video yesterday and I couldnt understand the mouth rigging before but now I do :D
NICE!!! Just what I was looking for! THANKS!
Cool! A good lesson!
thanks, more than extremely cool stuff. you should do more rigging stuff, very good explanations as well. only part i didn't feel good was renaming, there should be some quick renaming util / tool for that...
Awesome. Eyelids sticking to eyeballs are something which I must learn!
the only problem with the eyelids is that they will only stick to the eye if it is perfectly round....
Not the most handsome alien out there, but who am I to judge? ;-)
Can't wait to check out the tutorial!
This is a great write-up, I located your weblog checking google for a related theme and came to this. I couldnt discover to much alternative information and facts on this piece, so it was nice to find this one. I probably will be back again to check out some other posts that you have another time.
