I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. @ dusty @ Zepl

Austria indeed is not Australia. No cangaroos here ;-))

I am the trainer and I made a mistake when I asked Bart to publish this article:
There are even 56 hours of Blender training, not only 40!

  2. Would be an good idea for other countries as well. And then integrate making 3D models from buildings in their towns to get towns populated in Google Earth which on its turn is good promotion for towns and cities. Then you get 3D knowledge as well as perhaps end up with something that's good for the city or town.
