Blender Python Scripts Catalog

17

collections-3Brendon Murphy aka Meta-Androcto has created script tool-kits where you can download  scripts by category.

I would like to announce the: Extensions:Py/Scripts/Catalog/Toolkits These Toolkits contain 100's of Scripts from the script catalog, all ready to paste into your .blender/scripts folder. All scripts work, although there may, as always, be a few depreciation errors. The errors are not harmful. Basically you get all the Working scripts I have collected over several years.

Secondly, I would like to announce the: Blender 2.49a Packed Collections build. This massive version of Blender (75meg) is based on Kai Kostack's Optimized Py 2.5 Windows2.49a Build. Then I added some of my collections.
Inside you get Materials Library's, Scripts Collection, Texture Plugins, PyNodes, Rigs: ManCandy, Stickman/DevilMan, Petunia, Example scenes of Oceans, Clouds, BrianH's wonderful Fur Library, New themes, 5 icon sets, New screen layouts, Studio Lighting examples & much more. Both the new user & the experienced user can jump into this build & explore many working areas of Blender, right away.
There's also a thread on Blender Artists

Special thanks to Daniel from Graphicall for hosting this build.
Enjoy!

  1. This is great.
Thank you very much for this.
I hate hunting for scripts , in the end it is always worth it.. but so many dead links..SO MANY dead links.

Having them in one package is amazing. If this colection of scripts will be kept up to date, them I will be eternally grateful.

Blender build is also a good idea. I think many new blender users are discouraged by the lack of pre-build materials.

    Thank you again

  2. This is amazing! Finally I can download everything in one go versus having to hunt through the internet for all the different samples. They should link this on the main Blender page, this can really show off blender's potential.
