I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Wow, that's impressive being able to tweak the lighting while it's still rendering. That definitely helps to make up for the longer render times. Thanks for the tutorial!

  2. Bart is probably the strangest person on earth. I sent him this video more than a weak ago and he didn't publish it, now he does. (easy now don't delete this as well)

@Hedge, I think they try keep a steady flow of news rather then posting content as soon as they get it.
one of my posts took over a month though I dont think thats useual.

  4. Is there any good tutorials on how to use Luxrender I attempted to get it to work using a tutorial but all I got was a scene that looked grainy no matter what I tried to do to fix it?

  5. wow, I would have not expected this in luxrender this fast, this kind of feature is in Max renderer, and not even in Indigo or Kerkythea
