Scheduled downtime: Tonight 20:30-21:30 GMT+2
Our second attempt! We’ll be moving BlenderNation to a more delicious server tonight. The plan is to bring the site down at 20:30 GMT+2 (Amsterdam time) and to spend about one hour to migrate and test everything. We’re stepping away from the potato-powered server, that didn’t work so well for us. We’re open for suggestions for alternatives! (Post your pics in the comments and I’ll pick one to use during our downtime).

Bart, tell us: have you ever thought how are potatoes powered? Then I will tell you that if all severs on this planet would be so energy effective as potatoes are all energetic problems of humanity will be solved. Apples work like a charm for powering servers. And if you’re hungry having a snack is much more convenient than potatoes.
