Hi folks, just letting you know summer internships are available for (among others) the tube (blender made) animation project, details and links on http://tube.freefac.org/post/summer-internships and on http://www.bitfilms.com The internships are for students and recent graduates to come and work on some projects going on currently in the pioneer valley ( Western Massachusetts, USA ). cheers Bassam.
One word of warning: be cautious when Bassam ever suggests to take a walk in the city - he'll keep you walking for HOURS until your legs hurt :)

You don't have to arrive today, you have to email your demo/resume today, so there's time ;)
Oh yes, in case you didn't notice, the deadline is today, 5 pm, est! (crossing my fingers! )
cheers
Bassam
Until my legs hurt? Really? This sounds like a challenge!
btw, this claim of long walks is totally exaggerated. Everybody knows that it was a short walk, and that Bart kept on saying 'is it over already! I wanna walk more!' and 'how am I going to walk up an appetite with a walk this short!'.. but as always , history is written by the victors!
btw, thanks a bunch for posting this Bart. We got a bunch of applications in the last moment, and a huge spike of traffic to bitfilms due to the notice, so who knows how many of the applicants only found out due to blendernation :)
Aw, man, if only I lived around there! Would be great just to get an inside look at Tube. Oh, and to bask in Bassam's glory. :P
Man, I somehow missed this post. I am from the Greenfield area here, like 15-20 minutes from Amherest. Hopefully their will be future internships that I actually hear about.
@Jeff: if I were you I'd just ignore the deadline and apply anyway. You never know!
Hey Jeff, another option is to just contact me directly, you can arrange to drop by here, or for a meetup in Northampton/wherever (most of the project is on my laptop too)
cheers
Bassam
